Inspired by the rugged Pacific Ocean coastline, "Tidewrack" is an evocative exploration of the edges where humans and nature interact. Using unique Red Step Studio hand formulated underglazes, the images and colors are "painted" onto handmade white ceramic tiles with brushes, paint rollers, and expired credit cards. Texture is created from found industrial patterned metal scraps and handcarved stamps. The surface has a matte, rough textured finish.
