Five color linoleum block print from the "Legends" series. This print was inspired by a group show my West Sound Printmakers group scheduled for March 2020. Our opening happened right before the pandemic lockdown started. WE all chose a "legend" to portray in a print. I chose to interpret Artemis and Persephone in a symbolic manner. Artemis was a fierce warrior and protector of young women and expecting mothers, The waxing moon symbolized the promise of youth.
Limited edition of 14. Ships flat between cardboard. Print image is 2.5"w x 3.75"h. Acid-free mulberry paper is 4"w x 6"h.
